This is a suite of five movements for flute, viola, cello and guitar. The title of the piece refers to an enchanting island off of the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, a favorite haunt of the composer. Each of the movements is a musical portrait of a village on the island, including the eponymous (and largest) town on the island: Lastovo. This work was commissioned by Ensemble Illyrica.
